释义	超辰 chāo chén古天文术语。汉以前占星家用岁星即木星纪年，以为此星十二年运行一周天，而其实不足十二年，约为11.86年。刘歆创超辰之说以补救之，谓经过一百四十四年按实测为八十六年后，岁星的实际位置便超过一个星次，谓之超辰。亦称超次。木星约每十二年绕日一周，为一周天，与十二辰相应，每年依次历恒星十二宫之一。但是木星绕日一周并不足十二年，积一百四十四年已多行一次，与十二宫相差一辰，称为「超辰」。
