释义	草嶺古道 cǎo lǐng gǔ dào位於臺灣東北部的歷史古道。開闢於清嘉慶年間。由臺北盆地溯基隆河而上，翻越三貂嶺與草嶺而進入宜蘭。即橫亙於今新北市貢寮區至宜蘭大里的丘陵地帶。是清朝先民入臺的移民路線之一。古稱「淡蘭古道」。全長約十公里。途中金字碑、虎字碑、雄鎮蠻煙刻石都是有名的古蹟。
