释义	聞喜宴 wén xǐ yàn唐制，進士放榜，醵錢宴樂於曲江亭子，稱曲江宴，亦稱聞喜宴。後唐明宗天成二年詔命新進士聞喜之宴﹐年賜錢四百貫。宋太宗端拱元年定由朝廷置宴﹐皇帝及大臣賜詩以示寵異﹐遂爲故事。因曾設宴於瓊林苑﹐故至明清賜新進士宴稱瓊林宴。聞喜宴分為兩日，宴進士，請丞郎、大兩省；宴諸科，請省郎、小兩省。《宋史．卷一五五．選舉志一》也稱為「恩榮宴」。
