释义	短票 duǎn piào旧时高利贷的一种。借债人实得借款少于债券上的数字，还债时却要按债券数字足数归还。旧时向人借钱，先从本金中扣除利息，到期时还以本金相等的钱数，称为「短票」。如七扣的短票，所借本金为一千两，实拿为七百两，还钱则须加上利息三百两，共还一千两。这里胭脂巷有一位中书秦老爹要上北京补官，攒凑盘程，一时不得应手，情愿七扣的短票，借一千两银子。《儒林外史．第五二回》
