释义	痲瘋病 má fēng bìng由痲瘋桿菌所引起的慢性傳染病。為接觸傳染，潛伏期很長，常侵犯皮膚黏膜及末梢神經，引起浮腫、喪失知覺、脫色等症狀。神經嚴重受損者，則會引起癱瘓，甚至造成手指、腳趾向內彎曲。早期治療，可防止殘障或其他機能性障礙。在過去痲瘋病被誤解為一種極髒的病，沒人敢去接近患者。
