释义	波羅夷 bō luó yí修行者所遵守的根本戒律。为梵语Ｐāｒāｊｉｋａ的音译。在大乘菩萨戒律中，犯戒者要被逐出僧团，且不能成为菩萨。云何名波罗夷？譬如断人头，不可复起，比丘亦复如是，犯此法者不复成比，故名波罗夷。《四分律．卷一》若菩萨为利养故自赞毁他，是名菩萨波罗夷。《优婆塞五戒威仪经》
