释义	慧思 huì sī南北朝一位高僧的法號。西元515～577俗姓李，武津今河南省上蔡縣東人。十五歲出家，專誦《法華經》，後從慧文禪師修禪。因北方戰亂，遷移南方，遊化十四年，在陳光大二年（西元568)入住南岳，說法修禪，陳地信眾望風歸附。他將理論和實踐結合起來，並推廣應用在日常行事上，倡導法華安樂行。弟子甚多，以智顗最著名，後世尊為「天台宗三祖」。著作多為口授的講義，由弟子筆記整理而成，如《無諍行門》二卷、《安樂行》一卷，自著的有《誓願文》一卷。
