释义	巴波亞 bā bō yà人名。Vasco Nunez Balboa, 西元1475～1517西班牙探险家，是欧洲第一个发现太平洋的人。西元一五○○年随船前往美洲探险，垦荒失败后转往现今的巴拿马，担任总督和军事指挥官。经由印第安人得知南方有一大海，大海之滨遍地黄金，遂于一五一三年九月一日出发探险，终于在九月二十九日发现太平洋。今巴拿马运河的巴波亚港，即纪念巴波亚发现太平洋而命名。巴拿马货币名称。为英语Balboa的音译。
