释义	博學宏辭科 bó xué hóng cí kē一种科举考试制科。唐开元十九年开博学宏辞科，用来选拔学问渊博、文词卓越的人。宋南渡后，亦设有此科。至清乾隆时，因避帝讳乾隆名宏，改称为「博学鸿辞科」。博学宏辞科：绍兴三年立此科。凡十二题，制、诰、诏、表、露布、檄、箴、铭、记、赞、颂、序，于内杂出六题，分为三场，每场一古一今。试人先投所业三卷，朝廷降付学士院，考其能者召试。《文献通考．卷三三．选举考六》也作「博学宏词」、「博学宏词科」。
