释义	公估局 gōng gū jú清中叶以后各地鉴定宝银的机构。银炉所制宝银﹐须经公估局鉴定﹐于宝银面加批重量成色﹐才能在当地流通。外地流入宝银﹐仍须改铸重估。北京设有官办公估局﹐上海、汉口、天津等地的都是私人开设﹐收入全靠批费。1933年废两改元后停业。旧时专司鉴定元宝重量、成色的机关。大都会、大商埠大都设有此局。
