释义	五種性 wǔ zhǒng xìng佛教用语。指造成众生在修行道上最终成就不同的根性，谓之种性。种性有五种，即声闻乘种性、缘觉乘种性、如来乘种性、不定种性、无种性。具前三种种性的众生将可分别达到阿罗汉、辟支佛、佛的终极果位。不定种性，具有三乘的种子，但会达到什么果位尚不确定。无种性则永不能解脱轮回。有五种种性，何等为五？谓声闻乘种性、缘觉乘种性、如来乘种性、不定种性、无种性。《大乘入楞伽经．卷二》
